The music-making system of Artur Pawłowski.
Artur is an artist photographer. Back in his stylish house he enjoys
listening to the music. With an open mind he accepted the concept
of vintage audio.
I mean he likes it not because it is old, and definitely not because it looks beautiful.
Knowing his devotion to the family, I doubt if He does it to pull chicks either. Nothing like that.
He simply HEARS how much better the music comes through on a system like this.
The below photos illustrate the end of a long and painful way of Artur
to hi-fi nirvana. Nobody promised this would be easy, and it wasn't. He
fell into many traps and pitfalls, but recently he announced: I am in
Nirvana. End of the road.
Well - I know for sure - thi is it ! I heard it and I confirm ...
Artur made everything by himself, only under some of my own inspiration and some idea sharing as well.
Considering the WAF of this system - his wife must be an Angel. A Music Angel ???

The open baffle on the
photo supports an oval isophon midbass (same as in P18) and a Saba
tweeter. Tweeter is recessed 12 mm against the mid to align timing.
Cables are unrolled copper flatfoil coils.

The bass units are in the corner which yelds the deepest bass. Don't do
it with box speakers, but OB's are perfectly happy in the corners.

The bass unit XO mixed with the impedance matching transformer.

This is a FANTASTIC Tesla 15" inch alnico magnet driver, probably
arguably better than any Altec Lansing out there. At least it is
heavier, with bigger magnet and with better made cone.
It sits in a 1,5 x 1,5 m open baffle, reinforced by corner placement.
To compensate for the 32 Ohm impedance of this driver, we used a transformer to bring the impedance back to normal.
Rest of the system:

Kenwood 7090 CD player with Sowter connected DAC chips and external box lampizator.
Music Angel 845 with Fikus correction of circuit and RCA NOS tubes. Alternatively with a vintage 1950's German radio Nordmende.

LUKASZ FIKUS opinion.
My listening was done before the Tesla so it is based on imaginary lowest octave assumption.
I felt immediately at home with this sound. From the quiet
silence of this countryside house emerged totally believable 3D musical
notes. Nothing to comment - this is a system to die for. There is
nothing I can say. This is the two channel stereo system near the limit
of possibilities.
